Revenue Manager

Reporting to the Director of Business Management, you assume full empowerment and responsibility to plan and implement revenue maximisation strategies for both the hotel and serviced residences (8 on Claymore Serviced residences). Your core focus is on occupancy, rate and RevPAR optimisation.

Your duty includes (but is not limited to):
Revenue Management/ Business Development
• Offering consistent professional, friendly and engaging service to guests and business partners
• Meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment by having good judgment, an ability to multi-task and work independently
• Preparing and/or presenting detailed 6-month forecasts for both business entities, by market segment on a weekly basis, or as required (for rooms, apartments, catering and F&B)
• Ensuring inventory management, rates and all channels of distribution are managing and supporting the agreed sales strategy
• Ensuring that all rate loading and interfaces are always distributed in an accurate and timely manner
• Carrying out market research and preparing relevant reports where necessary
• Ensuring that responsibilities are handled in an effective and time-efficient manner
• Ensuring that revenue management practices follow the procedures and policies
• Ensuring that the reservations team have rate and inventory management knowledge
• Alerting departments on occupancy fluctuations where the need arises
• Performing the Director of Business Management’s duties during his/her absence
• Working effectively and cooperatively with all Sales & Marketing team members and other hotel departments
• Performing all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department and the organisation
• Having strong product knowledge and superior customer service skills
• Being on duty on weekends and Public Holidays

Reservations / Personnel Management & Development
• Leading, managing and motivating the Reservations team, ensuring work is completed accurately
• Ensuring all direct reports have strong product knowledge and job competencies
• Managing and controlling the Profit & Loss of the Reservations team
