Where is Carousel buffet restaurant?

Carousel buffet restaurant is located at Royal Plaza on Scotts, Lobby on 25 Scotts Road, Singapore 228220

 

Do you have outdoor seating?

Sorry, we don’t.

 

What time is the lunch buffet?

Lunch buffet is at 12:00noon and ends at 2:00pm

 

What time is the high tea?

High Tea buffet is at 3.30pm and ends at 5.30pm

 

What time is the dinner?

Dinner buffet is at 6:30pm and ends at 9:30pm

 

How do I make a reservation?

Group reservations can be made online too.

 

Can I make a breakfast reservation?

Yes, you can! To make your reservation, please call our hotline at +65 6219 3780.  If you would like to make reservations within the day, we encourage you to walk-in however it is subjected to availability.

 

Are the dates I have selected available?

Yes, only dates that are available for reservations will be displayed in the booking window.

 

How far in advance can we make a booking?

You can make table reservations three (3) months in advance. Any reservations beyond three months have to be made through our reservations hotline at +65 6219 3780.

 

How can I review and/or modify my reservation before it has been submitted?

You are able to modify your reservation online. Click on “Modify Booking” to make the changes before clicking Continue.

 

Can I pay for a reservation made by another guest (a friend, family member or co-worker, etc.) with a credit card?

Yes, you may pay for reservations made by another guest with your credit card. Please email to carousel@royalplaza.com.sg with the reservation details and we’ll assist you with the request

 

Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?

Yes, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address you have provided within 24 hours after you have made your reservation. Please note that the booking process is only completed after you have provided credit card details to secure the booking.

 

How can I cancel or amend my booking?

Cancellations and/or amendments to your reservation can be made 48 hours prior. Please contact our reservations hotline at
+65 6219 3780.

 

Can I book a specific table at the restaurant?

We reserve the right to assign seats. Any special requests are subject to availability.

 

Do you have sofa seats?

Sorry, we don’t.

 

Can I book the private dining rooms – Staterooms?

Yes, you can! We will need a minimum of 14 guaranteed paying adults to secure your booking. Our Staterooms are subjected to availability and terms apply.

 

Are you serving buffet?

Yes, Carousel is an award-winning buffet restaurant.

 

What type of buffet to you serve?

Carousel boasts an international buffet spread with delicious dishes from Japanese, Mediterranean, Western and local cuisines. And a stunning fresh seafood counter right up front!

 

Where can I find the buffet menus?

All buffet menus are available on our website www.carouselbuffet.com.sg

 

Is our buffet Halal certified?

All food prepared and served in Royal Plaza on Scotts and Carousel is certified Halal by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS). The Halal certifications apply to all open kitchen food stations in Carousel and all kitchens of the hotel. These also include the food served in the hotel’s room service and banquet functions.

 

The certifications are under the “Eating Establishment Scheme (Food Station)” that is similar to the food courts’, with strict control measures in place, operators are allowed to serve alcoholic beverages.

 

I’m making a reservation for a big group. How do I go about doing this?

Reservations for up to of 30 persons (including children) can be made online or by phone. We will require a credit card guarantee to confirm group reservations.

 

I’ve just made a reservation for High Tea. The confirmation email I received mentions that there might be a queue to enter the restaurant even if I have made prior arrangements?

Due to our restaurant’s popularity, some guests may choose to arrive earlier. To ensure that you have a pleasant dining experience, we seek your kind understanding to allow us to seat you, on a first-come, first-served basis. Rest assure that all confirmed reservations will be honoured and that your table will be secure while we attend to the queue. Thank you in advance for your patience.

 

Is the restaurant wheelchair-friendly?

Yes, our restaurant is wheelchair-friendly. Please use the ramp at the drop-off point in front of the hotel lobby.

Do the buffet prices include beverages?

Buffet prices include coffee, tea, cappuccino and latte. Other beverages will be charged at a la carte price.

 

Do you have buffet prices for children?

Yes! Children between ages 4 -11 years old can enjoy the buffet at child prices.

 

Can you bill the receipt to my company?

Do you sell vouchers at Carousel?

Yes, we offer two types of vouchers.  Credit vouchers are available in denominations of $25, $50, $100 and dining vouchers.

 

How do I pay for the vouchers?

Payment may be made by cash, debit or credit cards. All vouchers must be collected at the restaurant.

Any dress code?

We encourage our guests to dress casually for a relaxed dining experience.

 

Can I wear slippers?

For safety reasons, we will advise against wearing slippers at our restaurant.

 

Any prayer room or Surau available in hotel?

Yes! We have a Surau located at Level 2.

 

How long will Carousel hold my table?

Your table will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes, after which it will be released.

 

Can I bring food into the restaurant?

As we observe strict food regulations and standard, we do not allow guests to bring in food not served at Carousel.

 

Can I bring my own alcohol into the restaurant?

Yes, you can! Corkage charges will apply.

 

Does the buffet have vegetarian options?
Yes! Vegetarian options are available in various buffet stations including Garden Desserts, fruits and salads.

 

Do you have options for specific food allergies (e.g. gluten, nuts, dairy, seafood etc.) available at the buffet?

Due to the volume of ingredients that our kitchens handle, we are unable to guarantee that our dishes are free of allergens.

 

Do you have valet parking?

Sorry, we don’t.

 

Is parking free?

Yes! You can enjoy free parking when you dine in at Carousel. Simply for a parking coupon when you are ready to leave.
