Make it more obvious on your website the advertised room price is further subjected to 10% service charge, followed by 7% sales tax (17.7% in total)... It may be the current hotel practice in Singapore, but it's not universal.

Air conditioning in the lobby and restaurant was too strong for me and especially for my wife.

We requested a King size bed, but received 2 single beds pushed together to 'make' a king size bed - which inevitably means there is an uncomfortable 'dip' in the middle where the two beds meet. Customers should be made aware that a King size bed is not actually available. We would have requested a Queen size or Double size bed if we had known this.

overall we were extrmely satified with thes ervice from the bell boy up to reception,hosekeeping etc. Would vertainly recommend the Hotel to freinds.keep up the great service and friendly amosphere.

We submitted a request to have a blown light globe replaced on the second day of our stay but it still had not been replaced when we checked out of the hotel. We appreciate that it was Chinese New Year and staff levels may have been reduced but after four days we would have expected the maintenance to have been rectified. This was the only complaint we have.

I have wrote my feedback and return to the reservation desk upon checking out. Til now none of them get back to me. I have asked for a birthday cake and I called the hotel few days before and said it is for my husband'sname. However when I arrived at the hotel, apparently none of them are aware. Anyway the cake was delivered and the birthday card was in my name.

Have 24 hour room service as business travellers often do not have time to eat out when working after hours in the hotel room.

This was my second stay at the Royal Plaza on Scotts, and I will always stay there when I return to Singapore. Great value for a great price!

I enjoyed my stay and thought the staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. However the room service meal that I ordered gave me mild food poisoning, and considering that my stay in Singapore was a stop over on my way home to Sydney, it made the flight home very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I have emailed in regards to this issue previously and have failed to recieve any response. I am surprised considering that during my stay staff were very attentive.
