This would be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We took an upgrade to a suite which entitled us to extras such as complimentary afternoon tea, complimentary cocktails etc. These werent just a token gesture - they were excellent. The staff were fantastic with a very personal touch in such a big hotel. Rooms beautiful, fabulous breakfast. I could not fault this hotel in any way. Do stay here.

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was clean and had a nice feel about it. The front line staff were friendly - Mel in particular was very helpful when I wanted to change rooms due to the traffice noise

Watchout!!! Shopping Centers to the right and to the left! Singapore is a small island State and seemingly has shopping centers all over its central core. It is hard to believe that the Royal Plaza was once a Holiday Inn. Its lobby definitely has a feeling of a 4+ star hotel with marble everywhere. Elevator security by use of hotel magnetic keys. Rooms are nice sized, neat and clean but not as glitzy as the hotel lobby. Would recommend the hotel as a nice, safe hotel - rooms are not Ritz-Carlton but not shabby either.

Excellent and quiet hotel close to Orchard street We used this hotel for a 4 night vacation stay in Singapore. We really enjoyed it.. We arrived after midnight from a long trip and it was great having such a nice hotel waiting for us. We would use it again

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and very nice, comfortable rooms. If you must have a view from your room, I would suggest another hotel, but if you can live without a view, I would highly recommend this place. Great location, rooms, amenities, and price. Wonderful value.

The breakfast buffet was enormous and had dishes for all tastes. Adding it to the room rate was far more economical than paying for it "a la carte" as it was S$38 a day for walkins. The internet was awesome; very fast and provided a flawless skype connection. The miniar package was worth it as well.

I never been to the hotel but my wife is currently staying for two weeks for a business trip.She told the Hotel and Staff are excellent with a first class in service and overall appearance of everything about the hotel.Unfortunately my wife has to spend her birthday on the hotel with out her family.I contacted the hotel via email and reached Rocel Vergara one of the hotel manager. I told her my problem and she agreed to make my wife's birthday a special one! Thanks to the staff of the Royal Plaza..it really shows that the staff are truly nice and reflects the true value of customer service by the Hotel.
