It was our first time to travel out of the country with our 1 year old daughter. We chose the Royal Plaza on Scotts because a friend of ours told us that it was a pretty ok hotel. when we arrived at 12noon after our flight got in, we thought that we would have to wait til 2pm to check in, but we were able to get our room right away. it had a very huge bed, nice big clean bathroom, and FREE minibar. When we opened it, there was nothing inside, but once we informed the hotel, someone came up right away to refill it. even the beer and the soda was free. The staff was so friendly to us. From the doorman, to the lady at the front desk at the restaurant Carousel, they were so nice to us and would make extra effort to play with our baby. At night, my daughter slept straight til 7am which never usually happens. I think it was the comfortable bed in our room. Breakfast was incredible. My husband and I will never stay in another hotel again when we are in Singapore!

The Hotel is fantastic for a stop over in Singapore. The rooms are quiet, large, modern and ultra comfortable. The Hotel provides complimentary drinks and Nespresso coffee. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of the main shopping district. It is also great value for money- a little Singapore secret.

The hotel is at great location with big rooms. its service are great.they help to take luggage and send to my room. they provide water and coco and fruit drinks for free everyday. the hotel is very clean.

Good service on check-in and check-out. check-in was less than 15 minutes after arrival and check-out was less than 5 minute.good location which was close to orchard road and mrt station. comfortable rooms which includes mini bar, wifi internet, nespresso machine and good selection of cable tv channels

We had a great stay at Royal Plaza. It is easily understood why RP has been the best independent hotel in Asia Pacific for the past few years. The staff served us very efficiently and offered us a corner room so that our energetic toddler would have more room to play. We have been asked if we need a cot even we did not originally request that. We love the free broadband access in the room as well as the mini bar though we wish it could have more choices of snacks Overall it is a nice hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location within a short walk from several malls and the mrt. the rooms come equipped with free wifi internet, free minibar (oreos and beer) and a high tech coffee maker. beds are comfortable. bathroom is spacious, clean and comes with all the amenities (except for conditioner???). rooms are fairly dark though; we had to use the room lighting at all times. this was good for sleeping but not helpful for resolving jet lag.

the hotel is located in s very strategic location - close to the heart of shopping paradise. easy to find food when you need something to eat. room are not small and clean. the staff are very friendly. overall, a nice hotel. highly recommended.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room and had a Nepresso machine for our use, which we enjoyed very much. The free in-room internet, which many upper end Singaporean hotels do not seem to provide, was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. It is fairly near (say 10m max) to Orchard MRT and we took the MRT to and fro from the airport without much hassle - including once with a big piece of luggage. Taking the MRT was SGD2 (not counting the deposit) pp, while a taxi is about SGD30.

I was so happy to stay there especially when I checked in & the staff found out that it was my birthday so they upgraded my room to royal club which is very nice. Also I requested late checked out, they gave me till 2pm but I actually checked out at 3pm and they didn't charge me extra but they gave me another 2 extra bottle of water! And one more thing, the mini bar is amazing!!!

We went to stay in this hotel with my friends. they all appreciate the amenities of the hotel-like free internet, free mini bars ,swimming pool and sauna room. the bedsheets and pillows are all hotel standard quality. the best thing is that it is a non-smoking hotel. it is just 5 minutes from the mtr.
