Service - top notch. The staff were very courteous. I had 3 children in my room and there were no issues. Staff helped me promptly with many requests (dvd player with few kids movies - 10 mins, baggage strapping - 1 hr etc) would not hesitate to stay here again. Location is so awesome.

The staff were very helpful upon checking in and checking out and they were very efficient-especially with the number of people checking out they did a great job. The conceirge were great at giving advice and very friendly and approachable. The rooms were comfortable and the cleaning ladies left a note that they had come to clean the room but the "no disturb" sign was on and they said they'd come back later to clean. The hotel was always busy with people coming in and out and it felt lively. Though the hotel lobby was a bit small, yet it never felt crampped. The smell of the burning candles never failed to relax my mood :) The mini bar was complimentary-though there wasnt much choice- but it did solve midnight cravings for oreos. The location is great! Right outside the hotel is the bus stop. Orchard Road mrt is just a 2 minimute walk. There is a 24 hour mcdonalds & starbucks right outside the hotel. My sister and I were very happy we stayed at rp.

i choose this hotel mainly because its location – nearby orchid road and close to mrt station. just 5 minutes by walk you can arrive at ion and ngee ann city. for the ones who like to go shopping, i doubt there’s better option with lower price. just across the street you can find a food court in far east plaza, where you can find various choice of food which provides you an economical choice if you do not want to spend too much in a fancy restaurant every night. moreover, i find its service is one of best among all the hotels i had even been in 20 countries. i am not just talking about free mini bar – although it helps as well – the most impressive thing is how touching the staff could be, especially the ones rom concierge. i definitely would choose royal plaza on scotts again if the budget allows; after all, their service is something you can hardly find in any other hotel in the world. i sincerely hope that agoda can try to make its own service close to the level of royal plaza on scotts, and maybe agoda should send someone over there to benchmark it. in terms of hardware, it is not the best hotel in town; for example, i would prefer the hotels with better swimming pool and gym. nonetheless, i truthfully thank all the hotel staff for giving me a unique experience in staying here.

the location is great, only steps away to malls in orchard. the room is very much comfortable, especially the bed, and i love the mini bath-tub they have in the deluxe room - my toddler was very excited to take a bath there (we usually had trouble with take-a-bath routine in hotels with ceiling shower). the room size is perfect, not too big or too small. the staffs were very helpful when we arrived, and very friendly. will be back, definitely!

My friend and I spent a night there . I picked the hotel because of the location and we were not disappointed. The hotel located in the heart of orchard road , close to MRT and easy to get the taxi in front of the hotel. The services were good and concierge were very helpful. Coffee places like Starbucks or McCafe are 1 min walk from the hotel. We got the deal of free mini bar and the internet.
