older hotel but large well appointed rooms. i loved the inclusion of an expresso machine in room. the staff were very efficient, i travel frequently and have not seen better. the best feature of the hotel is it's location on the orchard road end of scotts rd. this puts it firmly in the center of town with shopping and food just out the door. it is also possible to quickly get out of the cbd and onto the expressways from here.

We were only in Singapore for 3 days and we were so pleased to be staying at Royal Plaza on Scotts. Location was so central, but not in a noisy area - fantastic. Our room was thankfully very well airconditioned and we great coffee/tea facilities and a free mini bar which was well received. We had the best time.
