In particular, Sheda the supervisor in the club lounge was always there to greet and have a conversation with us. Stayed for 10 days July 2012 in an executive suite.Room 829. Our stay was exceptional. Everything just happens with a minimum of fuss. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. Being able to access the club lounge for breakfast and especially the afternoon high tea was so relaxing. The coffee machine in our room was "EXCELLENT" along with the free mini bar and wifi that actually worked made our stay even more enjoyable.
The location is ideal for both shopping and day trips with the MRT very close. Will always stay here when we are next in Singapore. Simply could not fault this hotel in any way.Thank you Royal Plaza

I stayed there for 4 nights in late June. The hotel was able to arrange early check-in at 9 AM, which was very impressive. The Royal Plaza on Scotts is located just off Orchard Road, so it is very close to all the shopping hotstops, as well as the MRT. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the free minibar (stocked with soda, water and beer) was a nice touch, and the (free) breakfast buffet was excellent. The price was reasonable - so will look forward to staying again.

overall it's a really good hotel to stay, the room is pretty clean and decent with a lot of features. there's free minibar that's refilled each day as well as free wi-fi access.(seriously, i don't know what i would do if i can't get access to the internet there). as for breakfast, they provide various type of food, either western food, indian food, dumplings, and other so you don't need to worry about not finding a suitable food for you. oh, the house keeping staff are amazing. we got notes from them that they should have cleaned our room but didn't because we put the do not disturb sign. i like it since it's really informative. not just that, when we go out the next day, the staff even notify us about that situation, making the service feels pretty personal.
