The view from the room isn't good. Hope your coffee shop open 24 hours like the other hotel. But overall your hotel is good i think.
I stayed there in April 07 prior to staying there in Dec 07. Was impressed with the new revamped rooms. Will stay there again on my next visit to Singapore

my complaints relates to the operations of the hotel not the staff, for our 2nd stay from 24th dec. 1 of the 2 rooms was not ready until 17:40. the air con wasnot working, the room smelt of stale food. there is a false wall which revealed plastic covering renovation work next to room 1444 where the smell was coming from. the rooms were changed from the club floor to the premier floor but they should never been allocated. For the first time the Royal Plaza did not live up to the standard we have enjoyed in the past. A special mention to the Staff who tried their best but were let down by organisation . One final issue I asked to speak with the duty manager or Mr Fiat but this never happened, which does not reflect the hotels mission statement, " What can we do for you". We will visit Singapore again in March but in view of our experience we are not sure if we will stay at the Royal Plaza as it seems being a regular customer and a royal touch member counts for nothing
Excellent hotel and good value for money.
We had a wonderful stay at Royal Plaza. Everything was perfect - from its prime location, to the spacious room lay-out, to its friendly and accommodating staff. Its our 5th time in Singapore and i can say that we had the most pleasant stay at Royal Plaza.
I was very impressed with your hotel and the quality of the service. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would consider returning to Singapore just to stay at the Royal Plaza again.Regards,Rob van Hell
I am a frequent guest. I use the hotel because of its efficiency as a business and leisure hotel. I think the club rooms are fairly comfortable. The deluxe rooms need to be worked on.
i specfically asked reception in person how to go about getting dry cleaning done when I am only staying the night - ie. do i leave it with them tonight or tomorrow morning to ensure it will be back by check-out. i then re-checked with the housekeeping upon pick up the next morning only to be informed that i was too late as it would not have been back in time as i was wrongly informed by reception and quite annoyed that i could not get my dry cleaning done.
The check-in staff, Ms Sharon was extremely helpful and courteous. My wife complained about the room having an overwhelming smell and she managed to find us another room. Maybe the deodorant spray in the hotel is a bit too strong.
Service was very good on the whole but the hotel had an unpleasant smell and the rooms were overpriced.
It's my fisrt time staying in RP and I'm satisfied with it. Definitely will go back to stay in RP again on my next visit to SG
I was delighted with everything about Royal Plaza on Scotts Road...from booking on the internet,your help in finding our lost suitcases,the beautiful room,excellent restaurant,kind and efficient staff,I would recommend your hotel to anyone and everyone...thank you vey much indeed for making my family's holiday such a tremendous success
