Kindly note that airline mileage points related to hotel stay are considered ancillary points. Mileage is primarily awarded by the airline themselves when you make the flight. Participating hotels give you additional/bonus mileage for a “visit” to the hotel, regardless of the number of nights they stay at the hotel.

Q : How long does it take to process my mileage claim?
Airline Mileage Programs claims are processed by a 3rd party provider through our hotel’s affiliation with the Preferred Hotel Group. The airlines themselves require about 6-8 weeks from the date that the claim is submitted by the hotel, to verify mileage submissions and credit a members account. Alternatively, you may also contact the specific airline membership services team to enquire about the status of points related to your hotel stays.
Q : I did not have my frequent flyer details with me when I checked in/out, would it be possible for you to credit my frequent flyer account if I give you my details after my stay?
You are eligible to claim miles for qualifying stays up to 6 months after the departure date from a participating hotel. To request mileage retroactively for bookings made on eligible Preferred Hotel Group channels, please fax the hotel invoice and your request to: +1 312 913 1312 Attention: Frequent Flyer Retro Claim Desk. You can also email your request to email@example.com.
For bookings made direct with our hotel, please send us your frequent flyer membership number and the registered name in your frequent flyer membership account, together with a scanned copy of your hotel invoice to firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: Are all stays eligible for mileage claims?
In order to qualify for a retroactive mileage claim, your reservation must be booked via the Preferred Hotel Group Channels (Preferred brand websites, Preferred Call Centers or Travel agents using a Global Distribution System). Claims for reservations booked directly with the hotels or via third party websites and outside vendors, are subject to a minimum qualifying rate, which is reviewed annually. Reservations made through Online Travel Agents will regrettably not be eligible for mileage claims.
Please note that the following rates do not qualify for mileage claims: government rates, package rates, negotiated corporate rates, tour operator rates, employee rates, travel industry rates and group rates. Confirm details with the hotel upon check-in. Miles may not be awarded on all rates at all hotels.
Q : Do all Preferred Hotels and Resorts hotels award mileage points?
No, not all hotels participate in the Frequent Flyer program. Please refer to this link for a list of hotels that do not participate in the Frequent Flyer program at all. They will not award mileage and are considered inactive in the program.
