Receptionist need to clarify the use of the mini bar. The receptionist told me during my check-in that it was free. But checked the bill I was charged for it.
Loved the location of the hotel. Great band playing in Heat Lounge. Would prefer that the restaurant had an a la carte menu available at all times rather than buffet. We did not eat at the restaurant during our stay.
Improve refrigerator ventilationÃ‚â€”when the door to the cabinet which encloses the refrigerator is closed, the refrigerator cannot cool properly.
I especially loves the beverages. That definitely sets Roal Plaza apart from the rest. The desk area /space was also fantastic. The internet connection was a bit slow during my stay. Not sure if this is always the case but it was still good to be able to get access. I will highly recommend Royal Plaza to friends who visit Singapore and would most definitely stay here again.
i have experienced the most enjoyable stay at your hotel. Your service and the friendliness was more than excellent. We are currently thinking of making the stay at your hotel an annual thing. hope to be spending more time at your hotel by the end of this year. An excellent time spent at your Hotel. 1) Smoke free is excellent!2) I find it a hassle to have to carry the pram/stroller down the stairs as a slope is non-existence.
I thought it was over priced for what the room offerred. The fridge should have had fruit drinks supplied. There was no information in regards to what is available for the tourists in Singapore. There was a Koran but no bible. I could take affence to that. Also I think for the price one pays for the room at least the hotel could supply a shuttle bus at certain times of the day to take a guest to and from the airport.
why we cannot take a bottle of water from the club room?? they told us they will charge us??i travel so many times and always stay at the club room hotel(in different hotel) and we free to bring a bottle of water,soft drinks....maybe you should put a note near a refrigirator..because your staff there sometimes not so nice...and asking a stupid question!!thank you for your time.and in every hotel club room we can take anything from there the club room,a few bottle of water,soft drinks
The day to day variation of room rates is not too good
Closing the door from outside the room with a smack makes it rather noisy
On Check-in, my room seems to be resonabily clean but the drinking water was not replaced from the previous occupant and the rubish was not dispose. This little thigs should not be forgotten. little thing does make a big different. but overall I had a nice stay in your hotel. Thanks keep up the good work
Unable to pay for deposit by Credit Card as we do not own one and did not have enough Singapore Dollars to pay cash. This proved a problem.

Late night check-in was quick but staff did not seem so happy when serving us. Upon checkout we were incorrectly charged wrong amount, and it took 15mins before it was resolved. Front desk should have obtained the message for the correct amount prior to checkout to avoid this delay.Otherwise the room was immaculately clean, and we were very happy during the period of our stay. Very quiet rooms too - overall a pleasant stay.

The view from the room isn't good. Hope your coffee shop open 24 hours like the other hotel. But overall your hotel is good i think.
I stayed there in April 07 prior to staying there in Dec 07. Was impressed with the new revamped rooms. Will stay there again on my next visit to Singapore

my complaints relates to the operations of the hotel not the staff, for our 2nd stay from 24th dec. 1 of the 2 rooms was not ready until 17:40. the air con wasnot working, the room smelt of stale food. there is a false wall which revealed plastic covering renovation work next to room 1444 where the smell was coming from. the rooms were changed from the club floor to the premier floor but they should never been allocated. For the first time the Royal Plaza did not live up to the standard we have enjoyed in the past. A special mention to the Staff who tried their best but were let down by organisation . One final issue I asked to speak with the duty manager or Mr Fiat but this never happened, which does not reflect the hotels mission statement, " What can we do for you". We will visit Singapore again in March but in view of our experience we are not sure if we will stay at the Royal Plaza as it seems being a regular customer and a royal touch member counts for nothing
